BOJ - EMOTIONS
Nigerian Alté pioneer Boj shares a brand new single “Emotions” - a wildly infectious blend of smooth R&B and futuristic electronica, all while staying true to his heritage with its unique Afrobeats elements. The song tells the tale of a conflicted man trying to make sense of his turbulent relationship with love and coming to terms with the pitfalls of the bachelor lifestyle.
FRANKIE - THE CATCH
BELLY - MONEY ON THE TABLE FEAT. BENNY THE BUTCHER
NIIA - NOT UP FOR DISCUSSION FEAT. LAURA LEE
Enduring and in-demand Los Angeles-based singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Niia releases “Not Up For Discussion” featuring Khruangbin bassist Laura Lee. The track copes with bitter reality with a sarcastic detachment and sense of irony, as Niia sings “life teaches you nothing” she makes the cynical sound sexy. The track is accompanied by a dreamlike, hazy music video directed by Niia herself and filmed in a chic, 70s creative haven in Lincoln Heights, Los Angeles.
SINÉAD HARNETT - HARD 4 ME 2 LOVE YOU
Breakout R&B star Sinéad Harnett shares her brand new track today, ‘Hard 4 Me 2 Love You’. The song is from her forthcoming sophomore album, ‘Ready Is Always Too Late’, out May 21st. On the single Sinéad stated: “This was one of those songs I wasn’t ready to finish for quite some time,” Harnett says. “I’d had an argument with someone in my family and the chorus just came out. But it was too painful to finish until years later when I played the chorus to M-Phazes. I think what I learned from the process was that love evolves and changes, but when it’s unconditional you just keep going until it feels good again.”
