G-SHOCK has teamed up with CODE + CULTURE to host intimate and unfiltered online discussions, celebrating the journeys of those who have defied the odds to become outstanding in their field.

Embodying G-SHOCK’s ‘Never Give Up’ ethos, invited guests will provide unique insights into how they have reached their goals by pushing through external forces and overcoming social, cultural and institutional barriers in the process.

As the creative and cultural industries face increasingly uncertain and challenging times, we hope these sessions can help creatives of all disciplines, find inspiration and re-connect with their unbreakable spirit.

Having already collaborated with Davido, BurnaBoy and IAMDDB and with support from The Fader, Complex and Notion to name a few, PRETTYBOY D-O is tipped to be Nigeria’s next major export.

In order to focus on music entirely, he dropped out of his Pre-Med course at University and now represents a new generation of Nigerian youth culture. Fighting for a generation of African Youth, he is advocating for them to express themselves freely and tell their own stories.

Being one of the hardest working and most talented producers and rappers in UK’s Black music scene, Ayo Beatz has worked with Young M.A, Krept & Konan and Wes Nelson, to name but a few.

As a G-Shock Sessions exclusive, Ayo will give us a glimpse into his work by deconstructing his most successful productions, followed by an exclusive performance of his new single. PRETTYBOY D-O will be performing tracks from his latest release, due out in September 2021. You won’t wanna miss out on this!
