EQUATE Premiere: Abby Diamond

After a one-year hiatus of releasing music, New York-based artist Abby Diamond is finally back with brand new track ‘Cool Water‘ - exclusively premiering on EQUATE today.

Ever since she was a child, Abby listened actively to mainly Motown music, which then led her to train as a Jazz vocalist in New Orleans. Now based in Brooklyn, the multi-talented vocalist, composer, and producer has since built up a strong and ever-growing fanbase, and has graced stages alongside GRYFFIN, Lion Babe and Neon Indian, to name but a few. Collaborating with fellow queer and female artists is something she’s incredibly passionate about, as is working alongside creative performers within high fashion, drag, sensual acrobatics and burlesque.

Produced and co-written by frequent collaborator and friend Max Vehuni of indie pop duo slenderbodies, ‘Cool Water‘ marks the beginning of a series of singles which will be released every full moon. Inspired by her “epiphany that I’d been living my life in a waking sleep”, Abby shares a glimpse into her radiant world of lucid dreaming with this stunning offering.

The catchy, up-beat track once again accentuates Abby Diamond’s pure talent - blending R&B and pop, the singer’s outstandingly smooth and staggering vocals truly mesmerise us.
