EQUATE Premiere: Kali Claire

After a successful 2020 with numerous releases from her sophomore EP ‘Songs By The Pool‘, London-based songstress Kali Claire returns with a stunning Aaron Ferrucci-produced new single ‘Wild’ alongside visuals - out now via global artist services company Platoon.

Its soothing stripped back production beautifully captures Claire’s compelling vocals, showcasing a different, more vulnerable side of the singer’s outstanding talent. Accompanied, Kali also gifts us the official music video - shot in Tottenham by Creative Director Charlotte Baker and styled by Kashmir Wickham, the visuals portray the single in the most enchanting way. With its vintage-inspired settings, a floral background and butterflies attached all over her, we cannot help but daydream and being exported into a utopian world.

With ‘Wild‘ being a continuation of her previous acclaimed single ‘Disrespekt’, the singer states: “This song is wildly out of my comfort zone, it’s stripped back so you get to hear a different side of me. I’m a human and feel human things.”

The artist, who supported Mabel on her European tour, held a stripped back performance at Soho House and was previously seen in the iconic adidas London’s #HereToCreate Autumn/Winter campaign last year, is only just getting started though. ‘Wild’ is only the beginning of a series of releases this year, and we are excited what else we will see and hear from her.
