Tinie makes a triumphant return to our soundwaves with new track feat Not3s
With a decade passing since his No. 1 hit record ‘Pass Out’, Tinie (no more Tinie Tempah “the young rapper everybody’s ringing up”) has returned in full force with his new track ‘Top Winners’ feat. Not3s.
With 7 number 1 hits under his belt, The London-born rapper released his track this month with the record coming three years after he dropped his third Top 10 album ‘Youth’, which included the Platinum hits ‘Girls Like’ featuring Zara Larsson, and ‘Not Letting Go,’ featuring Jess Glyne.
With the changing of a new decade, came some personal changes for the artist too, dropping the identifying ‘Tempah” from his name. In an interview with The Sun, Tinie stated “I just feel it’s a new decade, I feel like I’ve almost peeled a layer off of myself and Tempah was gone with it…it didn’t seem fitting anymore. I’m not angry anymore.” This growth and metamorphosis is evident, from Tinie being regarded not only as one of South-London’s favourite rappers, but to a father and serial fashion-icon during his hiatus from the industry.
The sky’s the limit, and we’re excited to see what this new chapter of Tinie brings.
